Schleurith Heipflot was a well-known Martian due to him discovering Clone Reincarnation. He found a way to transport the memories and personality from the original individual, and then place them into a clone's mind. This means that no one would really die, their bodies would be the only thing to fall. Heipflot discovered it because the Martian population was beginning to lose population instead of expanding it, due to Zeno's backlash in the Times of Contempt. A new age of cloning on Mars, however, led to the overall destruction of the species several millenia later.
